What is a Silhouette Soft® Thread Lift?

Silhouette Soft® is a non-surgical, minimally invasive treatment to redefine facial contours giving a redefined jawline and improved skin laxity with immediate results.  Anchoring sutures are inserted under the skin using a fine needle to elevate the sagging tissue and lift problem areas.

It uses a double action effect to restore smoother and more toned skin, but also a more shapely face. To achieve this it combines two effects:

  • An immediate repositioning of the tissue
  • A gradual regeneration of collagen.

The repositioning effect is immediate and discreet. It is the result of tissue compression and skin elevation at the time of implanting the suture. After inserting the suture, the doctor applies slight pressure on the treated area and reshapes the contours of your face to makes it visibly smoother.

Silhouette Soft® is recommended for men and women who are trying to combat sagging skin or loss of volume but don't feel ready to undergo more invasive surgical alternatives. It can be used to treat various parts of the face including:

Silhouette Soft is approved by MHRA in the UK and the FDA in the USA for restoration and/or correction of skin facial laxity. Poly-L-lactic acid, the main ingredient of Silhouette Soft Threads has been used successfully in surgical procedures for more than 40 years, among others for bio-resorbable sutures, in bone plates and screws, and as a medium for medication.
